The Iowa Wild and San Jose Barracuda begin a weekend series at Wells Fargo Arena on Saturday at 6 p.m. on Hockey & Hops Night presented by Niece Trucking. Jager and the Polkameisters will perform in the concourse as a part of the Coca-Cola Local Concert Series and fans 21 and older may purchase 2-for-1 Confluence beers until puck drop.

Last Time: Iowa fell 7-3 to San Jose at Tech CU Arena on Oct. 20... Hunter Haight scored his first professional goal and recorded a hat trick in the loss... Michael Milne assisted on all three of Haight’s goals... Luca Cagnoni (1-1=2), Donavan Houle (0-2=2), and Scott Sabourin (1-1=2) each posted two points for the Barracuda

  • Iowa named defenseman Cameron Crotty as the team’s captain for the 2024-25 season on Friday

  • Brendan Gaunce and Devin Shore will serve as alternate captains on the road 

  • Gaunce became the first Iowa skater to reach a three-game point streak (1-2=3) this season with an assist on Tuesday at Chicago

  • San Jose goaltender Yaroslav Askarov is 9-1-1 all-time against the Wild  

  • Askarov’s win on Oct. 19 marked his second shutout against Iowa
