Junior Crash Course
Want to get your kiddos involved in hockey, but not sure where to start?
We created the perfect program to help aspiring youth hockey players in central Iowa learn how to skate and play hockey!
Kids between the ages of 4 and 12 have the chance to learn how to skate and play hockey through our Junior Crash Course program. The program consists of six sessions beginning in October and is designed to introduce the game of hockey at the beginner level while providing kids with FREE equipment from Pure Hockey.
Every selected participant will receive, at no cost:
- One (1) helmet
- One (1) hockey stick
- One (1) pair of skates
- One (1) hockey bag
- One (1) set of protective pads
- Six (6) hands-on sessions with Iowa Wild players and coaches to learn the fundamentals of skating and hockey
Registration for the 24-25 season has closed. Registration for the 25-26 season will open in the summer of 2025. Due to program limitations, not every applicant can be selected to participate. The selection process is meticulous and we do everything in our power to provide opportunities for as many aspiring hockey players as possible.
