IceHogs forwards Pierre-Marc Bouchard and Brandon Mashinter scored fifty seconds apart just 1:15 into the 2nd period, giving Rockford a lead it would never relinquish. Iowa’s Jamie MacQueen scored early in the third period to pull the Wild within a goal, but the team was not able to pull even with the Hogs down the stretch.
