The Wolves scored twice in the first and second periods, and added another insurance tally in the third for a four-goal road victory. Forwards Rob Bordson, Shane Harper, Terry Broadhurst and Cody Beach and defenseman Chris Butler each netted a goal for Chicago in the win. Iowa forward Zack Mitchell scored his second goal in two games to avoid the shutout loss. Chicago goalie Jordan Binnington made 28 saves on 29 shots to preserve the win. Iowa goalie Johan Gustafsson stopped 26 of 31 shots in the defeat.
