IOWA WILD AND CERTAPRO PAINTERS ANNOUNCE PAINT THE ICE EVENT
Aug 24, 2023DES MOINES, Iowa – The Iowa Wild and CertaPro Painters today announced that the Paint the Ice event will return to Wells Fargo Arena on Wednesday, Sep. 20. The free event allows fans to help paint the ice before the installation of the playing surface is completed.
“We are excited to bring the Paint the Ice event back for the best fans in the American Hockey League,” said Allie Brown Korinek, Iowa Wild Vice President of Business Operations. “Our fans provide us with incredible support off the ice and this is a unique opportunity for them to contribute to the team on the ice.”
The event is open to fans 18 years of age and older. Fans may sign up for the event online and attend one of three hour-long sessions beginning at 3 p.m. All attendees must sign a waiver prior to participating.
