IOWA WILD SIGNS FORWARD LUKE MISTELBACHER TO ATO
Apr 8, 2025DES MOINES, Iowa – Iowa Wild General Manager Matt Hendricks today announced the American Hockey League (AHL) club has signed forward Luke Mistelbacher to an amateur try-out contract (ATO). The Iowa Wild also reassigned goaltender William Rousseau to the Iowa Heartlanders (ECHL).
Mistelbacher, 19 (11/2/05), recorded 93 points (42-51=93), 34 penalty minutes (PIM), and a minus-2 rating in 67 games with the Swift Current Broncos (WHL) in 2024-25. The 6-foot, 194-pound Steinbach, Manitoba native played for Swift Current for four seasons (2021-25), where he accumulated 162 points (68-94=162), 50 PIM, and a plus-7 rating across 190 games.
Mistelbacher will wear sweater No. 20 with the Iowa Wild.
