The Wild’s last contest was a 3-2 win in overtime over the Rockford IceHogs on Feb. 13 at Wells Fargo Arena. Forward Adam Beckman tallied the game-winner in OT for his second point of the night (1g-1a). Forward Damien Giroux scored his first career pro goal to tie the game in the second period. Chicago’s last game was on Feb. 16 against Rockford, resulting in a 3-2 win for the Wolves. Iowa and Chicago will meet eight times this season.

 

LAST SEASON’S SLIM MARGINS

 

In 2019-20, Iowa and Chicago clashed six times and split the series with each team winning three games. Iowa won both games in Chicago, while the Wolves won three of four games in Des Moines. Wild forward Connor Dewar led all current Iowa players in scoring vs. Chicago last season (2g-2a-4pts).

  • Forward Seth Jarvis is tied for first in the AHL in goals, and power play goals and tied for second in points and power play points.
  • Jarvis and Forward Philip Tomasino are first and second amongst AHL rookies in scoring.
  • Chicago’s roster features four first-round NHL Draft picks (Dominik Bokk, Jarvis, Ryan Suzuki, Tomasino).
