Iowa continues its home stretch with the first of two games against the Texas Stars. Last season, the Wild just won one of eight contests against the Stars, the lone win coming in the second weekend of the 2018-19 campaign. Iowa is one of two teams with two wins in the Central Division, while the Stars are the lone team without a victory.

The Wild finished off its opening weekend with a 5-2 win against the Milwaukee Admirals, claiming the maximum of four possible points.
