Wednesday marks the first time in the 2021-22 season in which the Wild play the Eagles. The matchup is the first of four between Iowa and Colorado this season. The Eagles are currently riding a four-game losing streak.

 

PREVIOUSLY ON THE POND

 

Before the Wild headed into their Christmas break, they defeated the Manitoba Moose on Friday, Dec. 17 by a score of 4-1. Iowa goaltender Hunter Jones stopped 36 of 37 shots and Wild defenseman Calen Addison scored his first two goals of the season in the victory. Iowa forwards Mason Shaw and Adam Beckman both recorded two points on the night, with Shaw tallying a goal and an assist and Beckman notching two assists.
