The Wild and the Griffins play for the third time in the 2021-22 season on Feb. 10. The Griffins took the first two matchups, including a victory in Grand Rapids on the night Wild forward Cody McLeod played in his 1,000th professional game.

On Saturday, Feb. 5, the Wild defeated the IceHogs in Rockford by a score of 4-2. Wild forwards Marco Rossi and Mason Shaw both recorded a goal and an assist in the victory. Additionally, Wild forwards Mitchell Chaffee and Kyle Rau recorded one goal apiece. Iowa goaltender Zane McIntyre put together another solid performance, making 35 saves on 37 Rockford shots in the win.
