After falling in their previous seven contests, the Wild begin a six-game homestand at Wells Fargo Arena against the Milwaukee Admirals. Milwaukee emerged victorious over Iowa on Friday, Dec. 10, and Saturday, Dec. 11.

 

PREVIOUSLY ON THE POND

 

On Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021, the Wild and the Admirals faced off for the fifth time in the 2021-22 season. After Milwaukee scored the first two goals of the game, a power play goal from Iowa forward Marco Rossi and a tally from Wild forward Adam Beckman tied the game at two goals apiece. However, the Admirals added a goal in the second and third periods and won by a score of 4-2. Wild goaltender Dereck Baribeau made 29 saves in the loss.
