On Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, the Wild defeated the Chicago Wolves in overtime by a score of 3-2. The win was Iowa’s second in a row against Chicago. Iowa forwards Kyle Rau, Marco Rossi and Eric Staal scored to lift the Wild to a victory. Staal’s goal was the overtime winner and his second goal in as many games. Wild goaltender Hunter Jones made 27 saves in the effort.
