Sunday marks the second time the Roadrunners and the Wild will face off during the 2021-22 campaign, and the final time at Wells Fargo Arena. In game one, the Wild dominated, winning by a score of 5-0.

 

PREVIOUSLY ON THE POND

 

On Friday, Nov. 19, 2021, the Wild and Roadrunners kicked off a two-game set. The matchup was the first of four between the two teams this season. In a 5-0 Iowa victory, goaltender Andrew Hammond made 17 saves and recorded his second straight shutout on the night. Wild forward Kyle Rau scored twice and gained sole possession of third place on the all-time goals scored list in Iowa Wild franchise history.
