IOWA WILD ANNOUNCES FULL 2024-25 SCHEDULE
Jul 11, 2024DES MOINES, Iowa – The Iowa Wild and American Hockey League today announced the 2024-25 regular season schedule.

The Iowa Wild opens the 2024-25 season with back-to-back games against the Manitoba Moose on Oct. 12 and 13, 2024 at Wells Fargo Arena. The team’s longest home stand (eight games) takes place from Jan. 17 through Feb. 1, 2025. The team’s longest road trip spans seven games from Dec. 31, 2024 through Jan. 15, 2025.
The home schedule features 25 weekend games (six on Friday, 12 on Saturday, and seven on Sunday) and 11 weekday matchups (one on Monday, two on Tuesday, seven on Wednesday, and one on Thursday). January includes seven home contests, the most of any month. December has six home games, November, February, March, and April have five, and October has three matchups at home.
Iowa plays 13 total games in January, the most of any month. The Wild plays 11 times in December and February and 10 times in November and March. Rounding out the 72-game slate are nine games in April and eight in October.
For the first time in franchise history, the Wild have the Springfield Thunderbirds, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s St. Louis Blues, on the schedule. Iowa hosts Springfield on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 before visiting the Thunderbirds on Mar. 28 and 29.
Iowa also squares off against the Charlotte Checkers for the first time since the 2016-17 season. Iowa visits Charlotte on Nov. 29 and 30 before hosting the Checkers on Jan. 22 and 28.
Iowa faces three Pacific Division opponents in 2024-25: the Ontario Reign, the San Diego Gulls, and the San Jose Barracuda. The Wild plays each Pacific Division opponent twice at home and twice on the road.
Iowa’s Central Division schedule consists of 52 games against six opponents. The team’s most frequent opponent is Rockford with 12 matchups. Iowa plays eight games apiece against Chicago, Grand Rapids, Manitoba, Milwaukee, and Texas.
