IOWA WILD REASSIGNS DEFENSEMAN STEPAN FALKOVSKY TO ALLEN
Feb 3, 2019Iowa Wild General Manager Tom Kurvers announced today the American Hockey League (AHL) club reassigned defenseman Stepan Falkovsky to the Allen Americans of the ECHL.
Falkovsky, 22 (12/18/96), has appeared in five games this season for the Wild. The 6-foot-7, 225-pound native of Minsk, Belarus was acquired from the Los Angeles Kings organization on Nov. 25.
In his career, Falkovsky has played in 49 games in the AHL, amassing seven points (3g, 4a) and 30 PIM. In the ECHL, he’s played in 68 games and recorded 38 points (24g, 14a) while playing for the Adirondack Thunder and Manchester Monarchs.
Falkovsky was selected by the Calgary Flames in the seventh round (No 186 overall) in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.
Iowa closes out its three-game road trip with a contest against the San Jose Barracuda Tuesday. Puck drop is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. CT.
