IOWA WILD RECALLS MAX CAJKOVIC FROM HEARTLANDERS
Dec 22, 2023DES MOINES, Iowa – Iowa Wild General Manager Mike Murray today announced the American Hockey League (AHL) club has recalled Max Cajkovic from the Iowa Heartlanders of the ECHL.
Cajkovic, 22 (1/3/01), has recorded 15 points (10-5=15) and 28 penalty minutes (PIM) in 16 games with the Heartlanders this season. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound native of Bratislava, Slovakia, also appeared in two games with the Syracuse Crunch in the AHL in 2022-23. Prior to joining the Heartlanders, Cajkovic played for two seasons with the Orlando Solar Bears (ECHL), where he tallied 39 points (18-21=39) and 69 PIM in 66 games. He appeared in 20 games with Syracuse during the 2021-22 season, where he recorded six points (3-3=6) and 4 PIM. He was originally selected by Tampa Bay in the third round (89th overall) in the 2019 NHL Draft.
