MINNESOTA WILD ASSIGNS DEFENSEMAN NATE PROSSER TO IOWA ON A CONDITIONING ASSIGNMENT

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Minnesota Wild General Manager Paul Fenton today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has assigned defenseman Nate Prosser to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL) on a conditioning assignment.
Prosser, 32 (5/7/86), has played in one game with Minnesota this season, skating 3:13 in a 2-1 win against Arizona on Oct. 16. He tallied nine points (3-6=9), a plus-8 rating and 19 penalty minutes (PIM) in 56 games with the Wild last season, setting career highs in goals, hits (56) and plus/minus rating. The 6-foot-2, 201-pound native of Elk River, Minn., owns 47 points (10-37=47) and 229 PIM in 340 career NHL contests with St. Louis and Minnesota.
Iowa begins a stretch of three games in three nights tonight at Grand Rapids at 6 p.m. Iowa plays at Rockford Saturday night and hosts Rockford on Sunday.
