On this date in Wild history, one of the organization's fan favorites re-upped with the Wild, as Sam Anas signed a two-year, two-way contract with Minnesota. In the two years since that contract was signed, Anas has continued to be one o the most storied players in Wild history. This past season, he set the franchise record for points in a single season while also becoming the franchise's all-time leader in points. In his four seasons, Anas has accumulated 197 points (72g, 125a) in 259 games and ranks first all-time in assists (125), points (197), power-play assists (75) and power-play points (103), second in games (259), goals (72), power-play goals (28) and shots (519) and third in game-winning goals (10).
